The medical team promptly administered intravenous dextrose and Narcan, and an ambulance was requested. By 6:54 PM, the Veteran entered cardiac arrest and CPR was started. At 7:08 PM, spontaneous circulation was successfully achieved. The veteran was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further care. It was reported that after the Veteran was brought to the hospital where he was in critical condition. Tests revealed atelectasis, low blood glucose, and an EKG indicating AFib or a junctional rhythm.
