Title Abstract Grant Narrative -follow guidance provided in specific RFP, if none are provided use the NLN Research Grant Submission Guidelines – include all elements in that document- here is a list of the highlights: Advancing the science of nursing Linkage to NLN Research Priorities in Nursing Education Background to support the need for the study (See document for specifics) Review of relevant literature Research purpose and question Significance of the study to nursing education, i.e. (innovation, outcomes, etc.) Discussion of theoretical, conceptual, or philosophical basis for study Methodological Soundness: research design, sampling approach, data collection protocol, plans to maintain consistency amount multiple data collection sites.
