All the children were being gathered to wash their hands and go inside for indoor play. Sammy was reluctant to leave and go inside, not wanting to play indoors. An educator goes over to talk to Sam and prompt him to come inside. He ignores the educator and continues playing. The children have started to inside at this point and Sam is still determined not to follow instructions. Educator once again tries to convince Sam to come inside with the others. “Everyone else is inside, it’s not safe to be outside on your own.” After a little while, Sam is convinced to walk towards the bathroom but stops and sits on the ground.
