What ICD-10-PCS codes would be reported? BILATERAL CAROTID ARTERY ULTRASOUND INDICATIONS: Patient is a 50-year-old male patient seen presenting today for a bilateral carotid artery ultrasound. He has a history of bilateral carotid bruits and we will evaluate for possible stenosis of the internal carotid arteries. FINDINGS: The bilateral carotid ultrasound was completed, and the findings are as follows: There is a moderate amount of plaque at the carotid bifurcation bilaterally. Elevation of systolic and diastolic velocities in the right internal carotid artery is suggestive of a moderate grade diameter stenosis of 50 to 69 percent, which has progressed since the last study. There is a stable 50 percent or less diameter reduction in the left internal carotid artery. There is normal antegrade vertebral artery flow.
