Theory That Developed Assignment Help: How to Answer This Question

This type of question evaluates analytical and critical thinking skills.

What This Question Is About

This question relates to theory that developed and requires a structured academic response.

How to Approach This Question

Use appropriate theories and support your answer with clear reasoning.

Key Explanation

This topic involves theory that developed. A strong answer should include explanation, application, and examples.

Original Question

Use the theory that you developed in week two. Improve it by using the information you have obtained in the intervening weeks. Use the Conceptual – Theoretical – Empirical Model (CTE) to link the operational definitions with the empirical indicators with the theoretical concepts and the conceptual model components. Post your revised theory and explain how you would measure the concepts and proposition in a research study. Please provide a reply to this, it only needs to be 150 words. On the postpartum ward, nurses frequently must warn patients about the potentially serious side effects of having too many visitors in the first few days after delivery. According to Henderson (et al., 2019), while maternal fatigue affects a substantial number of women early in the postpartum period, it is neither inescapable nor ubiquitous. One of the most helpful things a new mother can have is adequate support. Some risk factors associated with maternal fatigue are a decrease in bonding time with the new infant and an inability to rest sufficiently to avoid severe maternal fatigue. Mothers who have a lot of guests have a hard time focusing on critical teaching moments, which is assumed to be due to a lack of sleep and the stress that comes with it. In week two, I wrote a clinical nursing theory about the necessity to limit the number of visitors permitted onto the postpartum floor to prevent maternal fatigue. I theorized that reducing a patient’s visitation count would reduce mother tiredness and stress. The quantity of visitors a new mother received was Concept A, while maternal tiredness was Concept B. The theory was that reducing the number of visitors would reduce mother tiredness. Using the knowledge gained over the last few weeks, this clinical theory can be improved. Week 2’s theory becomes the conceptual model (C), a framework from which a more particular, middle-range theory emerges. A theory is more concrete than a concept and represents the (T). We conclude the three elements needed to complete this model in a conceptual-theoretical-empirical framework, or C-T-E, and the empirical research methodologies utilized to validate the theory (Garvey et al., 2019). The construction of a healing environment for optimal wellness replaces Concept A (previously the number of visits). The reduction in maternal fatigue (Concept B) remains unchanged. The idea was that if there were fewer visitors, there would be less fatigue. My new theory is that providing a healing environment will promote mother restfulness, based on the C-T-E paradigm. Patients can be interviewed or asked to fill out a questionnaire to determine the outcome of interventions based off of this theory. Garvey, J., Dalton, J., & Magny-Normilus, C. (2019).
