Also, education allows nurses to adapt to the constant evolution of healthcare. Advances in technology, treatments and research are factor for the evolution of medical care. The adaptation of nurses to these changes is possible by continuous training and learning. Lifelong education makes possible for nurses to implement current and effective approaches to patient care. Furthermore, this enhances nursing critical thinking and decision making, which improves patient outcome. New healthcare fields like health informatics improves nursing competency and patient safety. By using technology, health informatics improves communication between providers, patient and families. Also, prevents and reduces medical errors because provides real-time alerts like medication interactions mistakes, critical results and vital signs. Health informatics allows access to education resources for professional development and improvement. Nursing informatics is a fast-growing field that plays a vital role in leveraging technology and data to transform health care delivery, enhance patient outcomes, and advance the nursing profession (What is Nursing Informatics, 2023). Although technology has help nurses to pursuit education and professional growing, they face different challenges in lifelong learning.
