GI- A patient was admitted for severe malnutrition and hematuria secondary to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Due to her malnutrition, a nasogastric feeding tube was placed under fluoroscopy. 5. Nervous- Right trigeminal neuraligia for which the patient underwent destruction of the trigeminal nerve. The operation consisted of right sterotactic radiofrequency destruction of the nerve using a radiofrequency needle. The treatment was done 3 times along the clival line of the nerve. 6. Urinary- A resident from an assisted living home complained of a sensation of incomplete bladder emptying, and was immediately taken to surgery where a transurethral endoscopic laser ablation of the prostate was done upon admission to an acute care hospital. Final diagnosis is BPH.
