OBGYNE WARD BED B Patient FC 25 years old G1P0 30 weeks AOG (newly admitted due to onset of hypogastric pain radiating to lower back associated w/ uterine contractions. Internal examination done, closed cervix under the service of Dr. Aquino. Diagnosis of Preterm labor. Diet as tolerated, w/ IVF #1 D5LR 1L + 2amps Isoxilan to run at 80cc/hr=920cc remaining. Urinalysis for follow up request. Medications, Nifedipine 20mg tab once a day, Iron + Folic Acid 1 tab once a day. Attached to EFM (External Fetal Monitor), Fetal heart rate & vital sign every one hour. Complete bed rest w/o bathroom privileges. Watch out for persistent labor pain, bloody show, untoward signs & symptoms. Additional Order Side Notes: Fetal Heart Rate 153 bpm w/ reassuring pattern minimal contractions Order/Treatment: Decrease IVF rate to 40cc/hr.
