I need to respond to this comment: The word diet to me, it means restriction on certain foods or the quantity of intake. When I do try certain diets, I don’t feel like it interferes with my exercise routine, but I do find it difficult to maintain the diet. Especially when you have children, they ask for certain meals and as a parent you are the one that has to cook it and maybe you’re trying to stay away from certain foods and that makes it difficult. I also think when having a family and having to go to work, picking up the children and having to clean sometimes getting fast food is not a bad idea but the options for a healthy meal in a fast-food setting is not that appealing or appetizing so I do have a hard time with diets. What does work for me is fasting, eating a small lunch and having an early dinner so that my fasting is for a longer period. I feel sticking to exercise routine is much easier than dieting.
