Her boss, Michelle, received a referral from a friend to hire Sarah to fill a maternity leave position. – The clinic is quite busy so Michelle decides to ask Sarah to work on a one-month probationary trial period. – It has been nearly a month since Sarah started working at the clinic and Michelle has recently been informed by another therapist that, upon a number of occasions post-treatment, Sarah does not wash her hands. – This is particularly concerning as Sarah has reportedly been coughing and sniffing in the last few days, and showing the onset of flu-like symptoms. – Some of the staff who are aware of this issue are concerned about infection or flu spreading – especially since the clinic is rather small, and close contact with each other is quite common. – Michelle is surprised with this news as the clinic has very strict guidelines on good hand hygiene – these must be followed at all times. – There are a few small posters on the walls of the clinic as reminders, and hand sanitizer solution can be found in every room.
