A good SBAR for a patient who was brought in to the emergency department due to chest pain and left arm pain. Patient has a history of MI. Patient said he has been out gardening all morning and thinks that he may have overdone it as he was trimming the branches in trees above his head and probably just stretched a little far. Pt was given nitroglycerin for chest pain with 5/10 level. Chest pain has gotten worse to 8/10. Patient was also given aspirin. Started IV on patient’s right forearm. Patient’s EKG shows VFib then asystole. Patient had no pulse. Called a code blue and did CPR and defibrillator.
