Original Question
D was in the communal area at the start of the shift. Objectively elated although bright and pleasant in manner. At times Daniel needed reminding to respect people’s personal space. Due to the presentation, we requested a breath sample using the Alcometer which returned a result of O. He accepted his prescribed medication and spoke of the plan to eventually change his depot as discussed in ward round and he appeared to be pleased about this. D was heard shouting in the ward garden for a brief period. D was observed to be standing in the doorway of fellow peer E’s bedroom; he was informed that he should not be going into other patient’s bedrooms and left the room cooperatively. He was later observed standing outside of fellow peer P bedroom, peering into the window, he was discouraged from doing this and was cooperative at the time. Sometime after P was seen approaching the communal area and he reported that D had been at his door trying to wake him up again. D was approached about this and advised to refrain from disturbing his peers, which he agreed he would. As the evening progressed D appeared to settle, and he spent some time seated in the lounge. He was observed to be interacting with fellow peer B and C before retiring to his bed area, where he was observed to sleep intermittently. General observations were maintained throughout.
