Case study: Mr James Dunn is 69-year-old aboriginal male, admitted today from home. You are working on the medical ward and has been allocated to your patient load for the morning shift. Mr Barrett lives in a regional mining town, having worked in the coal mines for 20 years. Current Medications (oral): perindopril 5 mgs daily; metformin XR 500mg BD; atorvastatin 20mg daily; Immunisations unknown Subjective data: Feeling anxious; tremor evident; diaphoresis; decreased appetite; weight loss; dyspnoeic and fatigued.
