Original Question

my case study is ChloeA 55-year-old woman named Chloe San Jose came to the clinic saying she sometimes had pain in her neck and arms. When she talked about her symptoms, she said she felt tingling and numbness in her thumb and radial wrist. Her right forearm was also weak, especially when she bent it, like when she lifted something. Over the past few months, her symptoms have slowly gotten worse. During her first exam, every aspect of her symptoms was taken, including how her neck pain spread to her right arm and how she had sensory problems in her forearm. The physical test displayed that the radial forearm had less feeling, the forearm flexors were weaker, and the right side’s biceps reflex was slightly weaker. Based on these results, her walking did not change. The patient’s complaints and the physical exam results suggested that the forearm flexion weakness and radial forearm paresthesia could be caused by a herniated C5-6 disk. All of the patient’s symptoms and the results of the physical exam led to a possible herniated C5-6 disks that caused C6 radiculopathy. This explained the weakness in bending the forearm and the radial forearm pain. how can you briefly connect this statement with my case ..According to Munokomi et al. (2023), neuroimaging is crucial when a patient shows new symptoms, or has signs of radiculopathy or spinal stenosis. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is the preferred method for diagnosing spinal stenosis because it effectively visualizes soft tissues and neural structures, helping to confirm narrowing of the spinal canal or nerve compression.
