I feel that my ability to remain calm in the face of mistreatment is one of my strengths; however, some are frustrated by this trait and I’m sure many would agree. As I don’t value confrontation at all, I try to stay away from it. I’ve been misunderstood for someone who doesn’t care, yet all I really want is peace and quiet. I won’t try to rock the boat as I respect stability. I dont get easily get provoked by others, so when someone does, it has to be something horrible. Anything that challenges my sense of stability or deprives me of control really upsets me. As mentioned, I have a very high tolerance level of undesirable behaviours, but once crossed, it’s difficult to recover. As a result, conceptualization is the most challenging phase for me. Before I establish that common ground, there will be a long and meandering backstory of why we even have that dispute in the first place. I will try to explain why I behaved the way I did. And most of the time, when I truly want a fight, it takes longer because I insist on what I believe in from the outset of the dispute. When it comes to being professional, the approach is different. It depends on the scenario, I would say, that’s a different story. Respect and professionalism are more important to me than any resentment against others.
