Original Question

Introduction: Provide a brief description of your assigned unit or agency Discuss the following: Define the meaning of the letter “T” in a SWOT analysis State one threat you identified Discuss why you see this as a threat My Response: Loss in talent or the inability to recruit talent, potential actions of a competitor, changes in prices, and the failure of suppliers to meet their commitments are a few examples of potential threats in a company. SWOT analysis is abbreviated for strength, weakness, opportunities, and threats. A threat is anything that can negatively affect your business or plan. When you face a threat, it is vital to anticipate the threat and take action before you become a victim of them. A threat allows you to think of obstacles you face in your plan. Something bad happening is defined as a potential threat. I work at a COVID site where we face several threats. One of the threats that I have identified is the weather. Because our site is located outside, we have to deal with the scorching heat, the freezing cold, the rain, and the wind. These different weather conditions determine how the workday will go, which isn’t well. For my Capstone project, I choose to do it at my COVID site. I consider the weather to be a threat because it normally determines how many patients will come to get tested in a day. Typically, on a rainy or cloudy day the number of patients that come to get tested significantly drops. On a sunny or humid day that tends to affect the staff more than the patients. Because of the added personal protective equipment, we have to wear, it makes us hotter and causes us to work slower. Working slower causes longer wait times and frustration. Last, on a windy day, a lot of debris is blown on our site, dust fills the air, and all our materials are blown away. Even though the weather is uncontrollable, I do identify this as a threat. How would you respond to my answer informative or uninformative or missing information and why?
