I need help with the research article appraisal part two, it is different than the one that was sent. This is a new article one with new questions. https://doi-org.ezproxy.uta.edu/10.22038/jmrh.2021.60589.1728 Reference Hashemzahi, M., Khayat, S., & Khazaeian, S. (2022). Effect of covid-19 self-care training telemedicine on perceived stress and corona disease anxiety in pregnant women: A quasi-experimental study. Submission Instructions: A major skill that is learned in this course is how to critically read and appraise nursing research articles according to the guideline found in your textbook. The purpose of appraising an article is to critically evaluate the research process followed by the author(s) of the assigned article. This is an information-intensive, time-intensive process that is not learned overnight. To demonstrate your skill at appraising an article, you will complete this open-book assignment. Here’s how you should approach completing this week’s assignment to begin appraising an article: 1. First, do your assigned reading in Gray and Grove (2021) each week. This will introduce you to the critique skills you will need for the week. 2. Skim the entire instructor-assigned research article that has been posted on CANVAS in Module 1 Reading and on the assignment so that you will have an idea of what it is about. For this week, re-read carefully the introduction/literature review /theoretical framework and methods sections of the article again. 3. Print the Research Article Appraisal, Part Two Assignment and find the best answer to each question based on your Gray and Grove (2021) assigned readings and on what you have read in the instructor assigned research article. 4. Some of the questions in the appraisal assignment below will seem unfamiliar to you. Look up key terms from the questions in your textbook. Some examples of these terms might be problem statements, hypotheses, or variables. You can also look in Chapter 18 for an example of a critical appraisal of a quantitative research article. 5. You will write your answers for this assignment using the paper guideline found below. Leave the questions in your assignment and answer them accordingly. Do not write as a paper. Use complete sentences and correct grammar. NO QUOTES ARE ALLOWED IN THIS ASSIGNMENT as this is to be your appraisal of the content. Refer to APA to assist you. Answer every question. Cite the article at least once. Once completed, upload your assignment to the assignment submission link by the time and date listed on the Course Schedule. 6. Feedback will be provided after all assignments for this week have been entered for credit. Your assigned article for an appraisal is: Hashemzahi, M., Khayat, S., & Khazaeian, S. (2022). Effect of COVID-19 self-care training via telemedicine on perceived stress and corona disease anxiety in pregnant women: A quasi-experimental study. Total Points: 100 PreviousNext Research Article Appraisal, Part Two Legal & Ethical Issues Briefly discuss institutional review board approval for the study. Explain how ethical principles of research (beneficence/harm, justice, privacy, and autonomy) were followed to protect subjects, if that was explained or implied. If the study included subjects from a vulnerable population as described in the textbook, describe any additional safeguards used to protect them. Measurement Tools Fill out the table below for the major variables in the study (NOT demographic variables). You can add rows as needed, depending on how many measurement tools were used. Boxes can be expanded for more content. Name of Tool (Author, year) Level of Measurement Reliability reported Validity reported Data Collection Describe data collection procedures described in the study. Include who collected the data, at what time points, and how data was collected. Evaluate how clearly and completely the procedures were described. If more than one data collector was used for the study, describe the training of the data collectors, and how/whether interrater reliability was adequately assessed. Data Analysis List the statistical procedures performed to describe the sample or demographic variables. List the statistical procedures performed to answer the research question(s) or main study variables. Discuss the appropriateness of the statistical procedures for the level of measurement of the data collected. Utilize the statistical decision tree in the textbook, Chapter 21, Fig.21.7. Describe how the researcher(s) addressed any problems with missing data, if they did. Describe the level of significance (alpha) set for this study. Discuss the clarity of the presentation of study results (e.g. if tables or figures were used, clear description, etc.). Researcher Interpretation of Findings Describe the key findings of the study in relation to the purpose statement or hypotheses. Evaluate the clarity of the authors’ explanation of key findings, including statistically significant & non-significant findings. Discuss whether the key findings were clinically significant or clinically important. Describe which findings were consistent with those expected, and any which were unexpected in your opinion. Describe the implications for practice identified by the authors. Summarize the suggestions for future studies (research) identified by the authors. Overall Evaluation of the Entire Study Discuss two strengths of the study. Discuss two weaknesses of the study, and how each weakness could have been corrected. Based on the previous research presented in the literature review and the findings of the study presented in this article, discuss whether the findings are ready for use in practice. Reference List
