Original Question
Anaphylaxis is a severe and life threatening allergic reaction that someone can easily experience if they are exposed to different allergies they might have. Such as foods, insect stings, medication, etc. Signs of someone going into anaphylactic shock is difficulty breathing, swelling, redness, drop in blood pressure, hives or rash, loss of consciousness. An epinephrine pen, AKA Epipen is a medical device that is used to help treat anaphylaxis. It is a shot that delivers a dose of epinephrine which is supposed to help reverse the symptoms of the anaphylaxis shock. I personally have never had to use an epipen on myself or for someone else. I have some pretty minor allergies to certain medication, which will just lead to me experiencing hives or a rash. I often times have to go to the doctors to get treatment and often times I can just let it pass and it will resolve on its own. Make a comment on this students post.
