Started about 2 weeks ago with nasal congestion and a cough. It gest worse when u lay down. You have tried decongestion and it didn’t help. You have never had something like this before. When you have had colds in the past they go away in about a week. You smoke about 10 cigarettes daily for 4 years. You drink on the weekend when you go out with your friends. Occassional marijuana use You have a history of anemia—no other medical history. You take Ortho Tri-Cyclen, oral contraceptive pill and multivitamin. HEENOT PE Findings for Case 1: Sinus Pain This patient looks tired and is coughing on and off during your visit, but doesn’t seem to be spitting up any phlegm. She has a fever of 101 (other vitals: 120/80, 82, 20) When you press on her cheeks under her eyes, (and also over her eyebrows) she says it hurts, Her ear exam shows nothing abnormal.
