She does not drink alcohol or use illicit drugs. Home Medications: • Calcium carbonate 500 mg PO twice daily • Multivitamin 1 tablet PO daily • Famotidine 40 mg PO daily at bedtime Allergies: NKDA Past Medical History (PMH): Stage IV laryngeal cancer Upon initial assessment, Ms. Gilbert is in no acute distress. She has copious, green-tinged secretions coming from her tracheostomy tube that require frequent suctioning. She has adventitious lungs sounds including rhonchi and bibasilar crackles.
