What is the current atmosphere of the agency you are in for your placement? Identify two or more positives about the environment and how it can help clients. To reduce the gossip and drama on the unit, I believe there should be a more structured environment with a supervisor who does not engage in the gossip. I believe there should be a social worker supervisor on the unit specifically for the mental health staff, and RN’s should have a separate supervisor. I do not see the cohesion with only having a nurse supervisor. The SW supervisor supervises the whole hospital, leading to a lot of miscommunication
