Maryam created a sand cake, carefully placing a small stem on top as a candle. She then approached the educator and proudly said, “Look, teacher, I made a birthday cake for you.” The educator responded positively, expressing delight and pretending to eat the cake, saying, “Delicious!” Afterward, Maryam made a sand pizza, adding leaves as toppings. Her actions demonstrated creativity, communication, and a developing understanding of social interactions such as sharing and celebration. Activity done- Maryam was engaged in imaginative play by creating a pretend birthday party in the sandpit. she made sand cakes using natural materials like leaves and sticks, sang “Happy Birthday,” and shared her creations with the educator . This simple activity encouraged creativity, communication, and social interaction through role-play and celebration. Observation 2- . Sarah- During indoor play, Sarah and Ayan were engaged in imaginative play with a toy birthday cake. Sarah carefully placed the cake on the table, added a candle, and pretended to celebrate by blowing out the candle and cutting the cake into slices. She shared a slice with her teacher and then offered the remaining slices to her friends. When Ayan hesitated to share, Sarah encouraged him by saying, “Let’s share so everyone can have a piece.” Ayan then agreed, and they shared the cake together. Sarah’s actions demonstrated creativity, empathy, and a developing understanding of sharing. Purpose- Children will understand the value of sharing, and in the observation, sarah actively practices it during her play with Ayan, showcasing her social and emotional development. Activity- Role play- Sharing is caring Activity done- One day during playtime, a child was happily playing with a toy truck when another friend came over and asked to join. But the first child said no and turned away. Feeling a little sad, the second child walked away and saw another friend playing with blocks. When asked to join, this friend smiled and said, “Yes! Let’s build a tower!” The two friends shared the blocks and started building together, laughing and having fun. Seeing this, the first child watched for a moment, then walked over and asked to help. The friends welcomed the child warmly, and soon all three were playing together, sharing toys and enjoying each other’s company. This story shows that sharing is caring, and when we share, we make friends and have even more fun together.
