EDIT / PROOFREAD On going problem I hope the email fine you well. There has been an ongoing problem at work which is very concerning during my shift which compel me to bring to your attention. One, people disappearing from the workstation for hours, Patient sample being ignore for more than sixty minutes and over working coulees. At the being of our shift colleagues can be seen at their workstation and within an hour or two everybody will disappear for hours. And completely abandoned their workstation. If is to cover the front they will be no staff for most of the entire shift. So, when there is sample drop off at the front or at the shoot it could be seating for some minutes most of the times hours. Today (01.31.2025) for example there were samples including Tnl from ICU in the front for more than forty minutes. The floor called to found out why the sample were not process and that is how found out that there were sample lot at the front. And since there were one at the front. I must stop my work and took care of it. Later, Mr. Adel came, and I told him that since this has seem to be an ongoing problem regardless if there is more the two staffs or not I would have to report it to Tim and he went off saying a whole lot of things including, quote “I should cover them and if sample in Stat is left for more forty minutes is nothing” “he do not know why I am so matriculate about work because he and other staffs understanding each other” “He thinks I am the problem if I have to stop my work and accessing one or two or cover them what is the problem” and throw his right hand at his back at me and work away. My concern here is I want my colleagues to understand that i do not have a problem for them abounding there station but I have a problem when the pt samples are be left for some time and Drs have to called to find out that we did not run the sample at the time they brought it lab and all of us have to be at fault for delaying pt sample. Also, according to Mr. Adel I should be looking for my disappearing staff whenever there is work which should be extra work for me or I should ignore someone abounded their station.
